M.A. International Relations Operations Strategy Cross-Border Coordination Process Architecture

"Strategy without operations is aspiration. Operations without strategy is motion. We deliver both — together."

Biography

Ksenija Nikolić brings to Themis Advisory Group the operational discipline and international perspective that transforms advisory insight into executed outcomes. With a Master's degree in International Relations and deep experience designing and running cross-border operations, she ensures that every engagement delivers not just a recommendation, but a clear path to implementation — with timelines, accountability structures, and measurable milestones built in from the start.

Her career has been defined by a conviction that the gap between strategy and results is almost always an operations problem. Organizations fail to capture funding not because they lack ideas, but because they lack the internal infrastructure to pursue them. Regulatory approvals stall not because the law is unclear, but because no one has mapped the sequencing. Investigations go sideways not because of bad intent, but because of bad process. Ksenija's role at Themis is to ensure that none of those failure modes apply to our clients.

Born in Serbia and educated across multiple countries, Ksenija carries a genuinely global frame of reference — one that proves invaluable when advising companies operating across jurisdictions, navigating international regulatory frameworks, or coordinating engagements that span borders and cultures. She reads organizational dynamics with the same fluency that most people reserve for their native language.

At Themis, Ksenija manages the firm's operational architecture and oversees client engagement delivery. She is the reason that the firm's advisory work translates into concrete, trackable, defensible results — and the reason clients return. Her partnership with Terence Oben is the structural foundation of the firm: his cross-disciplinary vision identifies the opportunity; her operational command ensures it is captured.

Core Expertise

Engagement Operations

Designing and managing the internal processes that ensure every client engagement runs on time, on scope, and to standard — from initial assessment through final deliverable.

Cross-Border Coordination

Managing engagements that span multiple jurisdictions, regulatory environments, and cultural contexts — with the fluency that comes from lived international experience.

Process Architecture

Building the compliance reporting systems, workflow structures, and accountability frameworks that allow organizations to sustain regulatory eligibility at scale.

Her Approach
Ksenija operates on a simple principle: every recommendation must come with a roadmap. She does not consider an engagement complete until the client has not just a strategic answer, but the operational infrastructure to act on it — the processes, the timelines, the reporting mechanisms, and the accountability structures that turn advisory judgment into organizational capability.

The Themis Partnership

Themis Advisory Group was built on the principle that great advisory work requires two things: the vision to identify what matters, and the operational command to make it happen. Terence and Ksenija's partnership is the embodiment of that principle — complementary expertise united by a shared standard of excellence and a deep commitment to client outcomes.

Complementary Strengths

Where Terence sees across disciplines — connecting legal, financial, and regulatory threads that others treat separately — Ksenija sees through them, designing the operational architecture that captures each opportunity. Together, they deliver advisory work that is both visionary and executable.
